Big Trouble in Little China (1986) is a fun "b" movie directed by John Carpenter and staring Kurt Russell and Kim Cattrall. Kurt Russell is a typical anti-hero and finds himself increasingly involved, over his head, in a world that gets deeper and deeper into a magical world of Chinese folklore.The story is about a young Chinese restaurant owner trying to rescue his girlfriend while Kurt Russell tags along to try and collect on a debt from that same friend. This is an action and adventure movie laced with humor that hits at just the right time.
